Naturally we are all grieving for Simon our colossus of a bass player & our love goes out to all of his family & friends.
We also acknowledge & mourn the loss of Chris Coll, G’s dad, who we lost over the summer. Chris was a huge supporter of the band & a great comrade.
We miss them both terribly & life will never be the same for any of us – their passing has had huge consequences for everyone. John & Ann are carrying on the JDR name & songs as an acoustic project whilst the remaining band members grieve & reassess what they wish to do. They do this with all the love & support of the JDR family.
However, we have 6 new dates, across the country between now (August 2023)& the end of September – almost a mini tour in fact!
We’d love to see you out & about across the country as we take tentative steps back to performing our songs of life, love, loss, rabbits, railways & revolution!
